Spring 2020

This project was assigned and completed in the midst of the global pandemic. After being sent home from college and having to readjust my routine, I learned how to sew on a traditional at-home machine and complete coursework that was originally assigned to be completed in the apparel lab.

The inspiration behind this piece is 90's tie dye fashion, in the midst of Brittany Spears, Clueless, etc.

Fall 2020

For this project, the criteria was that it needed a collar and sleeves. I went the comfort route, creating a piece that can make any woman feel comfortable and chic.

This piece was inspired by spring blooms, with clean, light colors and a linen fabric.

In this project, we were assigned to create a skirt that had more of a creative element than a straight-fit. I decided to design a tennis skirt with a dramatic yoke and alternating pleats. Though this project was the most time-consuming and involved more complicated elements, it is one of my favorite pieces I have created to-date.

This piece was inspired by blush and pink tones, made up-to-date with trends and meant to be worn in a casual setting.

Spring 2021

the first project for my apparel illustration course was to create two mood boards that 1. represent a time in our lives or our life in general and 2. represent us as a creative and how we want our audience to view our work.

The time in my life that I chose was from January of 2020, when I had the opportunity to travel to New York City to be recognized as a FSF Scholarship winner. It was the turning point in my fashion career and when I confidently knew that fashion was where I was most passionate.

I want people to view me as trendy, easygoing, not too professional or sophisticated, and heavily influenced by social media. I love colors and how well they can mix together as well as cool and calm neutrals. I think this board describes my taste perfectly.

In this project, I had the opportunity to learn the CAD software TinkerCAD & develop 5 pieces of jewelry to be 3D printed.

I chose to use my newfound love of clay jewelry as an inspiration element as well as my love for the evil eye & fun, bold colors. I also utilized Photoshop to develop watercolor-style renderings of my jewelry as well as a model wearing them.

This was a printmaking project where we created original prints through Adobe creative cloud softwares. I chose to use Photoshop to create my prints.

The inspiration behind my 5 prints was the music video for Olivia Rodrigo's "Deja Vu." I took color and design elements from the video to create the prints
